NID Declares State of Emergency and Holds Virtual Board Meeting for April On March 26, 2020, NID held a Special Board Meeting and declared a State of Emergency to respond to the COVID-19 crisis. Additionally, the Board decided to hold at least one virtual Board meeting for the month of April, rather than cancelling all meetings due to California's shelter in place order. There are two different ways you can watch and/or listen to the NID Board Meeting this Wednesday. This Wednesday, NID will hold a virtual Zoom Video Board meeting and review two items. First, NID will decide whether to hold a second virtual Board meeting on April 22, 2020. Additionally, the NID Board will review their Declaration of Surplus Water for 2020. This agenda item contains interesting water supply facts as well as predictions for future precipitation.
