NID's Board Workshop on Water Projections this Wednesday This Wednesday, NID's Board of Directors will finally review NID's Water Planning Projections. As a reminder, the Water Projections are important because they will be incorporated into important management plans such as the Raw Water Master Plan (also known as The Plan for Water), Urban Water Management Plan and Agricultural Water Management Plan. Thank you again to all Dam Watchdogs that submitted comments on the Water Projections by the extended deadline of October 19, 2020. SYRCL submitted extensive comments as part of the Foothills Water Network. While NID has responded to some comments in an updated Questions and Answers document on their website, many comments have yet to be addressed. SYRCL looks forward to hearing more about how public comments will be incorporated into future water planning and working with NID and our community on this critical planning process for a sustainable water future. To read all the Water Projections documents, visit NID's Water Planning Projections website. To learn more, join us virtually at the meeting this Wednesday. |

Tips for Virtual NID Meetings As a reminder, there are two different ways you can watch and/or listen to the NID Board Meeting this Wednesday. You will need an internet enabled computer equipped with a microphone and speaker, or a device with phone capabilities. Use of a webcam is optional.
- Join the Zoom Video Meeting. Click or copy and paste link for the meeting you want to join from above into the search field of an internet browser.
- Call the Teleconference Number.
- Are you joining via an internet browser on your computer? Make sure your internet browser is up to Zoom requirements to ensure access.
- Are you joining on your mobile device? Log-in with Zoom mobile app on a smartphone and enter the Meeting ID#. To view the meeting agenda on a mobile device, please switch to “Request Desktop Website” in your browser settings.
- Want to make public comment? The best way to give public comment via Zoom is the "raise your hand" function. The Board Chair will call for public comment throughout the meeting. See these instructions for more information, and make sure that your microphone is not muted when you give public comment.
